You Can Now Play Dante's Inferno on PC in 4K and 60FPS

Dante's Inferno is now playable on PC thanks to a PlayStation 3 emulator. Not only does it run smoothly, but it also supports 4K and 60FPS.

Dantes Inferno one of the more original hacknslashes of the last decade is not a last-genconsole exclusive anymore. 10 years after its debut, the team responsible for RPCS3 and open-source PS3 emulator made the game fully playable on PC. In 4K. And 60FPS. Its also devoid of any physics-related glitches or stuttering or other little technical nightmares to ruin your experience. Its quite an achievement, and it looks gorgeous. See for yourself:

Before you ask, no, you dont need a high-end, sold-my-soul-to-the-devil-to-buy-it PC to run it. The creators stress that even mid-range CPU's can hit 60FPS!, and while mid-range doesnt sound like anything specific, it can be assumed that a 4-core Haswell CPU should do the job just fine.

It took the RPCS3 team almost 3 years to make the PC version of Dantes Inferno happen, so maybe you could give it a shot, eh? Well, before you do, theres a twist you still kind of need both the game and the PlayStation3 console to transfer the files to your PC.

But isnt this a small price to pay for that silky smooth 4K experience?
