Transport Fever is an economic strategy by a Swiss studio, Urban Games. The previous game by this team was Train Fever, released in 2014. Contrary to that title, in Transport Fever the developers decided to offer not only land-based transport management, but aerial and marine transport as well. The goal of this game hasn't changed however - it still is about developing an efficient transport network connecting different locations, and allowing smooth transportation of goods and passengers.

Transport Tycoon Deluxe is an extended version of a popular economic strategy produced by Microprose. The player takes on the role of the head of a transport company, and his task is to develop a small company into a global tycoon. Compared to the original, the creators introduced, among other things, new terrains and transport vehicles, as well as made many minor changes in the mechanics of the game.

The action of Cities in Motion 2: The Modern Days is set in a contemporary metropolis. The player's task is to design and build a functional transport system which will satisfy the inhabitants' needs. Available means of transport include buses, trolleybuses, trams, suburban trains and underground.

The creators prepared 30 different means of transport and four urban agglomerations to choose from (Vienna, Helsinki, Berlin, Amsterdam). The game was divided into a campaign and a free mode.
